What is the difference between a connection and a device?
A device is anything you install your login on: a TV, a Firestick, a phone. A connection is one stream playing at a time.
- You can install your login on as many devices as you like.
- Your plan sets how many can play at the same time: a 1-device plan allows 1 stream, a 3-device plan allows 3.
If you try to play on more screens than your plan allows, the extra stream stops or you see a "max connections reached" message. Close the app on the screen you aren't watching, or add a device to your plan.
Extra connections cost less than a second subscription. See the prices for 2 to 5 devices on the plans page.
Sharing your login with people outside your household isn't allowed under our Terms of Service and can lead to suspension.
